Thank you for volunteering to coach in a Pelican Park youth sports league. Volunteer coaches are very important to the success of our leagues and make a difference in the lives of children.

Applying to coach does not guarantee you will be selected. Each of the individual sports advisory boards and staff must approve all coaching applications. If you are selected to coach you will be notified after the conclusion of the youth sports registration period. Pelican Park feels very strongly that the children participating in our recreational leagues deserve only the best coaches. Applicants are required to agree and commit to the Pelican Park coaches code of conduct. Your signature and acceptance of these guidelines will ensure that every player on your team has a positive experience. Likewise, we insist that your coaching experience be positive and require all parents to sign a code of conduct at the time of registration.

Head coaches applications for anyone under 21 years of age are typically not approved.

We are accepting applications during the following time period:

NOVEMBER 1st –MARCH 15th Spring Baseball Spring Softball Spring Volleyball Boys Spring Basketball Girls Spring Basketball Youth registration closes the 1st week of March for the above listed sports MARCH 1st-JULY 1ST Boys Summer Basketball Girls Summer Basketball Youth registration closes in mid June for the above listed sports MAY 1st –AUGUST 15TH Football Fall Baseball Fall Volleyball Youth registration closes in mid August for the above listed sports JUNE 1st –OCTOBER 15th Boys Winter Basketball Girls Winter Basketball Youth registration closes in mid October for the winter basketball leagues
