IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Before selecting your E-Travel form, check with the out of state tournament you plan to attend to make sure they know about our new E-Travel forms. All state associations have been advised.

* For Recreational Team Types, copies of the following MUST be faxed to the SRI State Office (401-294-8406) to ensure permission is valid.

  • Certified Team Roster (this will include names & addresses of all team officials; names, addresses & date of birth of all players. The following statement on the team roster signed by the club president, club registrar or club designee.
    "I certify that all information listed has been verified by me and is accurate."

    Region I has established the following policy concerning permission to travel when attending USYS sanctioned tournaments in Region I. The purpose of this policy is to make it as simple as possible for the US Youth Soccer Region I teams to travel to tournaments within Region I.

The new policy states that any USYS State Association teams within Region I that is accepted into a tournament in Region I do not need permission to travel papers. Permission to Travel is not required in friendly games within Region 1. Note is to be taken on the two (2) states that has an exception to this policy. (Connecticut & New Jersey)

E-Travel Notification is easy to use:

  1. Select which form you need and click on it
  2. Fill in the requested information
  3. After ensuring your data is correct, hit the submit button
  4. The form is returned and displayed as approved by SRI
  5. Use your browser's print function to print out two copies of the authorization or notification
  6. The Coach or Team Manager must then sign the form(s), keeping one for team records and giving the additional copy to the tournament.

Three different authorization forms are available. Before you choose a form, be sure you know who has sanctioned the tournament you plan to attend.

  • Notification of Travel to a US Youth Soccer Sanctioned Event
  • Notice of Participation in Friendly Game(s)
  • **Notice of Participation in Another Organizations Sanctioned Event (Events outside of US Youth Soccer)

** The Notification of Participation in Another Organizations Event should be used for those events that DO NOT have a US Youth Soccer Permission to Host. This includes all US Club Soccer Events.


In order to successfully submit your E-Travel Registration information you must:

1) Complete all required information for each team
2) Print approved Travel E-Travel forms
