Regular Fee Schedule
Registration Fees:Early-Bird Registration (May 15, 2017 - June 7, 2017):
U4/5 = $85.00 per player, U6 - U19 = $135.00 unless multi family discount applies.

Regular Registration (June 8, 2017 - July 17, 2017):
U4/5 = $95.00 per player, U6 - U19 = $145.00 unless multi family discount applies.

Late Registration I (July 18, 2017 - July 31, 2017):
U4/5 = $115.00 per player, U6 - U19 = $170.00 unless multi family discount applies.

Late Registration II (August 1, 2017 - September 8, 2017):
U4/5 = $125.00 per player, U6 - U19 = $185.00 unless multi family discount applies.

Multi-Family Discounts: 1st Child is full price, all other children receive $10 off the registration fee (early, regular, or late fee).

All players of the same family must register at the same time in order to receive multi-family discount. Only applies to immediate family members with the same parents/guardians living at same address.

Registration Dates
Early Registration:May 15, 2017 to June 7, 2017
Regular Registration:June 8, 2017 to July 17, 2017
Late Registration:Beginning July 18, 2017 payment may only be made with the online credit card payment and there is no guarantee that there will be room to place your child on a team. Your child will go on a waiting list until we can determine available openings on a team.

No registrations will be accepted after September 8, 2017.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

If you register during regular registration and for whatever reason(s) need to request, during the correct time frame, a refund a $20.00 processing fee will be deducted from your overall refund. If we cannot place your waiting listed child we will assess the $25 processing fee during Late Registration I and $40 during Late Registration II. All requests for refunds must be made in writing. These requests can be sent via email to tryan1@verizon.net.

No refunds will be issued after the Coaches' Meeting on August 9, 2017 unless we are unable to place your child on a team. Refunds will not be granted in the event that practice and/or game schedules do not meet family schedule. SYSA is a volunteer organization and ability to grant individual requests cannot be accommodated.

Registration fees do not include the SYSA SFL uniform or other necessary equipment. Online purchase of uniforms only apply to U11 and above age players. Uniforms for under U11 can be purchased st Sterling Soccer, in Sterling.

No mail-in forms will be accepted for registration. All registration will be done online. If you have trouble accessing the online system you can try any public library to use their computers for registration.

Mail-in checks must be received within 5 calendar days from date of registration to guarantee placement on a team provided the player is registered during the regular registration time frame. If payment is not received by the start of the season then the player can be removed from the team. Any checks returned for NSF will be assessed a $50.00 fee by the collection company.

No jewelry is permitted to be worn during games. All jewelry must be removed. This is a FIFA rule with which SYSA must abide. This applies to newly pierced ears as well. Earrings CANNOT be taped over but must be removed while a player is on the field during games. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.

Coaches' meeting will be held on August 9, 2017 (location/time TBD). Do not expect to be contacted by your child's coach until after August 12, 2017.

Coaching clinics and coaching courses will be held in August. Updates will be posted on the SYSA website and communicated through mass emails. U6 U10 Meet and Greet will be on August 30 & 31, 2017. U6 U10 Practices will begin the week of September 4, 2017 and U11 U19 Practices will begin the week of August 28, 2017.

Recreational games are scheduled to start on September 9, 2017 and run through November 4, 2017 with a rain date of November 11, 2017. There is one holiday weekend (Columbus Day Weekend) in which no recreational games will be played.

Grants - A limited number of grants are available for those who may need financial assistance. Please contact SYSA via email tryan1@verizon.net to make this request. You must request a grant each season and it must be BEFORE you register. Grants are only available during early and regular registration.

In order to successfully submit your registration information you must:

1) Complete all required information for each player/family
2) Submit payment through methods available online
3) Print the Certificate of Registration - failure to wait until
this point will result in an incomplete registration and you will
be required to go through the entire online process again.


YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH PAYMENT SECTION & YOU HAVE A VALID CERTIFICATION OF REGISTRATION.

SYSA Policy
Before you can proceed with registration SYSA requires acknowledgement of the SYSA policy.
  • SYSA does not accept team placement requests by parents or player for any reason, to include friends, carpools, practice schedules, coaches, game schedules, etc.
  • SYSA has the right to place or move players to any team in order to balance all the teams. No player is guaranteed placement on the same team year to year or season to season.

Volunteer Policy
SYSA is a volunteer organization and we need volunteers. If you choose not to volunteer then you pay the $45 opt-out fee.

Please choose a volunteer position or choose to pay the fee.


  Coach - responsible for coaching the team during practice and games. Coaches choose the practice days and times.
  Assistant Coach - assists the coach with practices and games (LIMITED TO 2 per TEAM).
  Team Parent - (LIMITED TO 2 per TEAM) assists coach with snack schedule, emails, team parties. If there are more than 2 parents per team then the parents will be placed on Field Lining or Field Clean Up. Team Parent will be chosen based on registration date.
  Field Clean Up - responsible for returning to the fields and removing the trash and putting the flags and locking the boxes - usually only one weekend a season, but could be more.
  Field Lining - responsible for helping to line the fields and setting up the fields at least one weekend. The field liners are assigned their weekend and told well in advance; reminders are sent. Field liners have three days to complete the task.
  Other Positions - volunteer jobs that do not fall in the above category, as needed by SYSA. This position might be used to fill in for Field Lining, Field Clean Up or Field Manager.
  
  Volunteer Fee ($45) - no volunteer responsibilities.
